Well..hi!

My name is Armig. I am Arabic UX Lead who studied journalism and media sciences then eventually decided to build things that users interact with.
With a background stretched over design and code, I aim at bridging the gap between creativity and technical development of a website or mobile app.
Currently I live in Dubai, working at Hogarth Worldwide making Arabic websites and mobile applications that focus on great experiences.

Fuelled by curiosity, powered by experience

I specialize in

Arabic UX

With 8 years experience working on Arabic user interfaces, I had the opportunity to work on various Arabic web applications. As part of my job I have conducted user interviews and usability tests with numerous Arabic users in GCC which gave the chance to know how to enhance their experience on various interfaces and how to make them click.

Interactive Prototypes

Benefiting from my experience in programming, I love turning sketches, mockups and designs into clickable web, iPhone, iOS, Android and Apple Watch app prototypes . It simplifies the feedback process by having users, team members, and stakeholders comment directly on a demo instead of static designs.

Mobile Apps

Designing a mobile application was considerably different than designing a desktop application. As an HFI certified Mobile UX designer, I have long track record of international mobile projects for a broad range of clients — from dynamic, fast-growing start-ups, to big-audience corporations with overall downloads going into the millions.

Good things don’t just happen

There’s a process

Idea

It’s easy to have an idea, but we turn it to concept, strategy, value proposition. All good probably but are you sure users will want it?

Discovery

Discover hat works and what needs work. User research, usability test, and user interviews to make sure your service can help the users and the business.

Information Architecture

Let’s make it usable and make it convert. Build wireframes and user flows to lay out the structure. Let’s see how it works, then we can decide how it looks.

UI Design

Pixel perfect, unique, and sleek. The interface design aligned with your identity, it needs to work and look good to the eye.

Code

Oh yeah! Clean, bug-free code on launch. The aim of this phase is to implement the design in the best possible manner. A well written code reduces the testing effort.

User Test

Build better products understanding how people use them. It’s time to evaluate your product. Test, test, and test and keep up with the demands of the users.

Recent Projects

No of course I didn’t include the first flash websites I worked on
